Benefit for participating school

CE100HK Solar is a green fund sponsored by the HK business community,
t will provide funding for 100 selected schools to install rooftop power systems and will donate a sizeable portion of the renewable energy income to the property owner as a
green fund for their facility upgrading, and at the same time, assisting property owners to apply for BEAM Plus green building label.
Schools can participate in the sponsorship program organised by the CE100HK committee.

We will provide

One-stop services

One-stop services for sign survey, contractor-seeking, design,installation,construction, maintenance and insurance for free to school
Stable monthly sponsorship

Stable monthly sponsorship for a green fund to support green education/ campus upgrading solutions

*a comprehensive carbon management system including black soldier fly food waste recycling system, low carbon conservation reptile house, clownfish marine conservation house
Free educational tools

Educational tools for students, such as carbon footprint calculator, solar LED lights, solar energy introduction talk, solar panel demonstration

Who is qualified？

Advocate zero carbon concept

Schools and Universities that advocate the Zero Carbon concept and strongly embrace the concept of Neutrality
Sufficient rooftop space

Schools that own sizeable un-utilized rooftop space without shading
Priority will be given to

Schools that have participated in "Solar Harvest"
Schools that have participated in "Green Schools 2.0" activity
Schools that have participated in "Jocky Club - Beam Plus in Schools Project"

Site audit and evaluation by CE100 Solar's participating consultant
Evaluation report and revise tender document
Put the project out of tender and choose a suitable contractor
Design, preparation and FiT application
Site preparation and waterproofing works
Installation and Construction
Stable monthly Sponsorship for carbon management upgrading solution
Carbon auditing
Green Building Label awarded/ Low carbon learning environment achieved
